Construction of a new single storey Pastoral Centre at Newtownpark Avenue, Blackrock, Co. Dublin together with all ancillary site development works. Minor extension and refurbishment works were also completed to the existing church building.
The building is RC framed with block infill. The roof is insulated metal deck, bitumen felt and sedum. Aluminium framed triple glazed windows and doors were installed.
The building is finished externally in a combination of decorative render and insulated decorative render. Internally the building is finished to a high specification and includes sports timber flooring in the hall, fitted kitchen, reception desk, folding glazed partitions, toilet cubicles and vanity units.
Siteworks included new footpaths, entrance roads, fencing, boundary walls and retaining walls, services including connections and landscaped areas to local authority standards.
Works were completed on a restricted site. The site adjoins the busy church and primary school and next to a busy public road. Careful traffic management and segregation of works was required throughout.
