The project consisted of alterations, repairs and refurbishment of existing building together with a new extension and site development works.
The works consisted of the demolition of section of existing structure, forming new openings and altering existing openings in existing structure, forming new extension. Finishes included new green roof to extension, aluclad curtain walling windows and doors, new joinery, floor and ceilings finishes, fitted furniture and mechanical and electrical services. External works included alterations to drainage and services, paving and soft landscaping works.
All works completed on a restricted site, in a live environment with minimal disruption to hospital operation. Close co-ordination of activities with hospital management and facilitation of hospital activities during the works.
Aspergillus management plan and method statements in place to control potential spread of aspergillus.
Tolmac managed BIM model development during construction phase, handing over completed BIM model on completion, to design teams specifications.
