Conservation & Refurbishment works at Rathfarnham Castle, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.

Refurbishment works to convert existing derelict basement rooms for use as an exhibition space at Rathfarnham Castle (Protected Structure & National Monument).

Works involved structural repairs and stabilisation works to door heads. Cleaning and repointing existing stone walls. Stabilisation works to earth plaster, investigation of areas of archaeological interest and making good on completion, cleaning and repairs to lime plaster, new lime plaster to match existing, sash window refurbishment with new fire doors, repairs and replacement of stone, brick and tile flooring.

New mechanical and electrical installation and re-decoration works.

Repairs to and reinstatement of external stone paving, repointing stone cladding.

Works completed in public museum with access routes through public park with minimal disruption to normal business.
